PUBG mobile returning to India soon

PUBG mobile returning to India soon, at least that’s what the rumors say. However, nothing has yet been confirmed except that the owner of the game has broken off ties with its India distributor. If PUBG mobile is returning to India it is because they finally are in compliance with the new restrictions. It was one of many mobile device programs the country band over personal data concerns. PUBG Corporation since the ban was put in place has tried to meet the new requirements. Apparently, according to the rumors, their latest attempt is to simply change distributors. However, Which company PUBG Corporation will choose for the new India distributor has not been confirmed. Additionally, officials in the Indian government has stated that ownership is not the primary concern in banning a mobile program. After the process, the government will take the decision over PUBG Relaunch.

What is PUBG?

PUBG is an online multiplayer battle royal game developed and published by PUBG Corporation. The game is based on mods created by Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene for other games. In the game, up to one hundred players parachute onto an island and scavenge for weapons and equipment. Their ultimate objective to be the last one surviving. The available safe area of the game’s map decreases in size over time, directing surviving players into tighter areas to force encounters. which of us if you want to do this? Right

PUBG was first released for Microsoft Windows on Steam’s early access beta program in March 2017, with a full release in December 2017. A version of the game for Android and iOS, both free-to-play, was released in 2018. PUBG is one of the best-selling and most-played video games of all time.

MOBILE BAN

PUBG mobile and its less powerful counterpart are both banned in India in early 2020. India removed PUBG and dozens of other needs from circulation over security concerns. Specifically, over concerns of the game’s ability to secure their user’s personal data. The primary reason for the ban many programs were concerns of potential espionage use by foreign powers. Specifically, many of the programs are potential security risks due to their ties to the Chinese Communist Party. However, it appears to have no direct ties to any major distributor in China.

Will PUBG Return?

Answering if PUBG will return to India is at this point a speculation game. While it is true that the game owners have tried everything, they can most of their efforts still fall short. Apparently, their newest attempt which began on September 15, 2020, is to cut ties with their current India distributor. According to a news release they are attempting to “join hands an Indian gaming firm” to rerelease the game. At the moment, there is no confirmation on which firm they are planning to approach.

Though there are rumors the point to several of the large companies including ones that produce rival games. However, officials in the Indian government have repeatedly stated that ownership of the program is not the issue. Changing the distributor will not necessarily bring PUBG into compliance with the India bands. Specifically, it is more important to ensure the security of the program’s user’s personal data. Assuming, PUBG can achieve that level of security then the rumors might be right about its return to India.
